Investigation of Timothy Brine

All ideas are on paper and so far it’s possible, there’s a few minor graphic adjustments to make which are text to be the same size and axis on the page. My only problem at the moment is creating a hover on a button that will appear from another side of the page which will only appear upon hovering over the button graphic.

The story commences in the present about a recently deceased young man with a love for the game Minecraft, your aim is to unwravel what happened to him, and why he was in such a terrible state before his untimely death.

The first screen viewed will be a birds eye view of the scene, you will not be able to remove yourself from this scene however clicking around the hotspots will zoom into a greyscale photographed image of the specific area within the room. There will be further hotspots inside the room along with animated narrative and possibly little easter eggs also.”

You are given a blueprint of a room previously owned by the occupant named Timothy Brine. As you explore around the room you will encounter information easily available and some hidden including a few easter eggs from previous work

Heavily influenced by the creepy pasta of HeroBrine, Shutter Island, the works of Stephen King and a few others.

  • – The television: containing 3 channels, 2 of which are faulty and display a broken signal, the 3rd will show a small CCTV themed video of Minecraft gameplay.
  • – Telephone: Noise for 5 seconds, after which a recorded message will play. A friend called discussing T.Brine’s recent breakup, his obsession with paranormal and expressing their concern. Business card which is actually mine will display a contact pyschiatrist for mental health.
  • – Laptop: containing a written blog by T.Brine, his blog will display his thoughts about death, upon clicking the blog it will physically crash / shatter inside the laptop screen as a metaphor to his own emotional torment.
  • – Notes: recent newspaper articles plus T.Brine’s personal thoughts, sketches. A little more detailed information about his illness and torment.
  • – Shelves: Dvd’s will contain a hidden message displaying “Herobrine, 28/12th It’s a trap, help!”
  • – Window: upon clicked the viewer will witness an old local workhouse which looks rather abandoned, a transitional wall will pan through to reveal a mental institution.
  • – Bed: Beneath the bed has a reciept or note from a family member (idea not fully considered)”
